The best beach clubs in Marbella, and which day each one is for
Five clubs on the same stretch of coast doing entirely different things: La Cabane, Nikki Beach, Puente Romano, Bono Beach, and La Plage Casanis, which Off-White has taken over for the season.

Marbella has been doing this longer than anywhere else in Spain, and it shows in the details rather than the volume. The good clubs here are not competing on how loud the afternoon gets. They are competing on the quality of the shade, the distance from the bed to the water, and whether the kitchen is worth staying for once the sun has moved.
Five worth the day, each doing something the others do not, and every one of them photographed as it actually is.
La Cabane, Los Monteros
The most beautiful of them, and the one that photographs best without trying. It belongs to the Los Monteros resort, ten minutes east of town, and its cabanas are dressed in the blue and white maiolica that Dolce and Gabbana made a house code. On paper that should be too much. In the light here, against the water, it is exactly right.
What it does better than the rest is comfort. The beds are deep, the curtains actually draw, and the pool is designed for lying beside rather than being photographed in. If the point of the day is to be horizontal in good conditions, this is the one.
Nikki Beach
The original. It opened at the Don Carlos in Elviria in 2003 and set the template that every beach club since has borrowed: white on white, teepee beds, thatch, and an afternoon that changes gear at a precise hour.
Two decades on it is still the most internationally recognised name on this coast, and the crowd reflects that. It is a commitment rather than a stop: people arrive for lunch and are still there at eight. Come on a weekday if you want to swim, and a Sunday if you want the thing itself.
Puente Romano Beach Club
On the Golden Mile, part of the resort of the same name, and the one where the kitchen is the reason. Sail shades, palms, laid tables and blue glass, with the water directly below the terrace.
Book it as lunch with a swim attached rather than a day on a bed. You will eat better than anywhere else on this page, the paella is the thing people come back for, and you can walk into Marbella afterwards, which from Elviria you cannot.
Bono Beach
The most relaxed, and the one that sits properly on the sand rather than above it. Timber banquettes are built into the beach in low pods, thatched parasols run down to the water, and the dune behind is a protected reserve, which is why the outlook is grasses instead of a car park.
It is also the one you can reach on foot if you are staying in Marbella itself. Sunbeds start at a fraction of the Golden Mile rates, the crowd is noticeably more local, and the walk home along the front at the end of an afternoon in the sun is worth more than another ten minutes of glamour.
La Plage Casanis
The one to know about this summer. Casanis is the quiet, linen-and-low-music end of the Marbella scene, and for 2026 Off-White has taken the whole club over for the season.
It launched on 13 June and runs until the end of summer under the line Days Off. The brand's blue and its cross-arrow run through everything: the parasols, the towels, the Balinese beds, the temporary store on site selling a capsule made only for Marbella, and, because somebody thought about it, the ice in the cocktails.
It is the rare fashion takeover that suits its host. Casanis was already the most composed club on this coast, and Off-White's palette has sharpened it rather than shouted over it. Go this season or you will have missed it.
What to arrange before you go
Ask for the minimum spend. A sunbed rate is rarely the whole number: the beds worth having carry a minimum spend, quoted per bed and not per person, with the front row highest. None of the clubs publish it and all of them will tell you if you ask, so ask when you reserve rather than when you arrive.
Expect a hundred and twenty to three hundred and fifty euros a head for a full day with a bed, lunch and wine at the top of this list. Mains run twenty five to fifty; cocktails start around fifteen. Bono sits comfortably below that, and La Cabane and Nikki at the top of it.
Book, and book the row. Front row is a different product from second, and in July and August it is gone a fortnight ahead.
Come in June or September. The season runs May to early October and the sea is at its best at the back end of it. The same water, a third of the crowd, and rates that behave.
